Close to everything the CBD has to offer, Crown on Darby met our expectations. Our room featured a well-equipped kitchen/dining area, a good sized lounge room and an outdoor terrace. Bed was very comfortable, plus there's a full-length bath and plenty of storage for bags. Staff were great, and parking is easily accessed by lift.

My husband has been here before for work so he brought me here for our Wedding Anniversary! Great call Bloke! Staff are lovely, helpful and full of interesting suggestions like "Poison Cakes" Apartment was immaculate and have loved the spa and used the balcony for most meals. Would definitely come back and recommend Crown on Darby to anyone! Oh and real coffee cups!! Not little tiny cups! I stay here every 4 weeks with business. Great service and very good value for money. Fully self contained apartments. It is better to pay a little extra for the 1 bedroom apartment - I could live in it, so big and comfortable. Has a Gym and undercover security parking. Location is in the heart of Darby st. Many restaurants. I look forward to staying here.

I was absolutely blown away by the staff and accommodation at the Crown on Darby!! It perhaps my favourite place i have ever stayed, with a complimentary room upgrade i could not have been happier! I would highly recommend the Crown on Darby to anyone looking for modern, comfortable and central accommodation (tons of restaurants surrounding).

This hotel is in a great location surrounded by cafes and restaurants in the heart of town. The staff are pleasant and accommodating and the rooms modern and clean. All in all great value so I won't bother staying anywhere else in Newcastle.

When passing through home have always liked to mix up where I stay but I seem to keep coming back to Crown on Darby. Firstly they are apartment rooms so they have plenty of space with some looking over Darby street with a large balcony, they are clean and also have a full kitchen. If you are looking to have some friends over for a pre-drink before going out to the restaurants, this is perfect. The location is fantastic on Darby street with plenty of restaurants and bars outside the door.

Staying at Crown on Darby for work was a total pleasure. The rooms were immaculate, undercover parking was plentiful and the location was perfect. That the hotel is located in the heart of Newcastle meant waking up for a casual walk around the provincial city, even going up the beach, was all achievable. At night there was an abundance of eateries to choose from right at the hotel's doorstep. Thank you Crown on Darby!
